Crazy Girlies

So, I keep thinking these girls have gotten as busy as they will be for awhile, and I keep getting surprised. Here are a few different scenes I have come across:

This one is very often. They dump all of Tia's shoes off and climb up on that little shelf together.
Gross, luckily this has only happened twice...
  Side stair guards?
Poor Avery didn't know how to get out after emptying the drawer and climbing in.
Some other recent pictures:

This is the Adelyn giving kisses. I wish I could say that their big mouths come completely from Tia's side, but they don't :)
 Adelyn loves her books

Adelyn showing off her four teeth
 Avery looking like her daddy
Avery was sharing her food with Adelyn. Didn't capture that part but it was cute.
They both LOVE music. We have been singing to them before they go to bed and Avery especially loves to sing with us.

They love doing this

Somehow I never mentioned their new little cousin! Matthew Dayton Waldron was born a little over a month ago, just two days before the girls birthday. He is such a sweet calm baby and has amazing hair. I am so excited to meet him in less than a month!

Life's a Surprise

I was thinking the other day how my life hasn't really been what I thought it would be like. I am so happy right now and am so glad Heavenly Father has led me to where I am. Here are some of my life's surprises:

-I really wanted to be in musicals and it was my dream to be in broadway. After trying out for a musical at the Scera when I was a little girl and them telling me my voice and acting were great, but that my dancing could be improved, my mom signed me up for a ballroom class. I don't think I tried out for a musical after that. Ballroom was my new goal.

-I was not going to marry Tia. It's funny to look back at when we were in high school together. I remember I thought about asking him to Morp my sophomore year because I thought he was really nice, but didn't. In college we were dance partners and really good friends, but everyone knows to stay away from dating your dance partner and I wasn't going to marry a dancer. I'm sure glad I broke that rule :)

-Growing up, I told myself the only thing I really didn't want to do as a job was to teach high school. The only time I wasn't in school and had a full time job was teaching high school. :) While it was only for a year, I am so glad I had that experience and will always remember the students and the fun times we had.

-When I was younger I remember wanting twins. However, as I got older and became realistic, that little thought faded away. I have never been more surprised than I was when we saw those two little figures on the ultrasound screen. While overwhelmed and anxious, I am so glad I got that wonderful blessing and wouldn't trade our girls for anything in the world.

-A few months ago, our lives consisted of Adelyn and Avery and they were going to be the center of our lives for a couple years. They will still be the center of our lives, but they will need to share it with another sibling in February. Yep, another surprise. We are very excited to meet our little baby (yes, there is just one in there) in about five months!

Happy Birthday!

I can't believe my little babies will be a year old in just over an hour. It seems like just last month we brought them home from the hospital. They have been such sweet, easy, happy little angels and have brought us so much joy this past year. I thank Heavenly Father multiple times a day that I am lucky enough to be their mom. We had a little party for them tonight; here are a few pictures:

Just after meeting our little angels. Can't believe it's been a whole year!

Partners in Crime

These crazy girls are busy, busy, busy. We are having so much fun with them but I can't seem to leave the room for a minute before something like this happens. Sometimes a Youtube clip of Baby Mozart does wonders.

Fourth Festivities

Warning: This is an extremely long catch-up post.

Even though it was a few weeks ago, I still can't stop thinking about how fun our fourth of July week was. Tia took two days off work (before that, he had only taken one day off since last August when the girls were born) and it was so fun to have him here during the day. Sara and her family came up and were here the first part of the week. Lilia's baby blessing was on Sunday, then starting the week we went up to Thanksgiving Point, ate lots of good food, went swimming, and had late nights playing games. It was such a perfect, fun week.

A few weeks before that, the girls were in the Freedom Festival baby contest. Not only was it fun that they won their category, they had so many activities for babies and toddlers. They enjoyed it a lot.
The 4th of July started out with the race. Barbara and Jessie convinced me to do the 10k with them and although I was really dreading it and it was really early to wake up on a holiday, I had so much fun! After that we watched the parade (the girls did NOT enjoy it :) then went home to a big breakfast that my mom made then took naps, yes everyone took naps, then went to lunch at the Dayton's. From there we went to a second lunch/dinner at Purcell's. It was so fun to be with everyone and just relax the whole day. That night we went and watched fireworks at a park. One of my favorite things about this fourth though, was waking up the next day to rain. It was perfect timing, so needed and definitely an answer to prayers.
On Friday we drove down to the cabin. Waldrons were so nice to invite us and we had so much fun there! It is really nice because it is like you are camping because you are so far from anyone else, but you get to sleep in a nice bed and go to the bathroom in a nice bathroom. :)

Glorianna and Kaeo had their baby boy last night.  Baby Jethro is so sweet and is the smallest Purcell baby so far, 6 lbs, 10 oz. The girls will meet him for the first time later today.
We are really loving our summer but each day the girls are looking older and although they are becoming more and more fun, it is sad to see them grow so fast. They will turn one next month!
