Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day and weekend together. This is Tia's first Father's Day and it was so fun to celebrate it with him. He is such an adoring, sweet father and these girls are so lucky to have him (as am I). I always knew he was going to be a wonderful dad, but watching him with the girls is even more fun than I thought it would be. They love him so much. Here are a few recent pictures of Tia with the girls:

On Father's Day, I love reflecting on my father and all he has done for me. Although he died when I was only three, he left such a legacy and is such a huge example to me. My siblings and I were told at his funeral that he would have a greater influence in our lives now than if he were alive. I love thinking about that and how he has blessed my life. One of the greatest ways he has blessed my life is that he was sealed to my mom and led a righteous life. I hope I can live worthily to be with him, my family, Tia's family and now our own little family forever. We are so blessed to have the knowledge of the gospel and life after death.

There have been so many men who have been amazing influences and examples in my life. I am grateful for the service and love these men have showed my family. And currently, I am so blessed to have a righteous husband and father in my own home.

*These pictures were Tia's main Father's Day present. Adelyn is in orange then green, and Avery is in pink then blue. Here are a few of my favorites:

Fun Cousin Time

Last week Chrissy and her kids were here. It is always so fun to have family visit. We went to Thanksgiving Point, went shopping, and ate lots of food. Brigham is closest in age to the girls (3 months older) so it was fun to see where they will be in a few months. Here are some pictures from the fun week.
Silly Uncle David

Not only did mom send us shopping with money to buy ourselves something, She watched all the kids. That's eight kids, four and under. This is what we saw when we walked in the door.
Blurry, but cute.

Ben and Hannah had their baby boy two weeks ago so there is finally a boy grandchild in the Purcell family! Kymani was born at 8 lbs 10 oz, is so sweet and has such a cute little face. The girls are starting to be a little more intrigued with babies as they get older.
And now, for some good and bad news. Avery has started to crawl...
