We have some very naughty little girls. We went to get family pictures
this last week and as I'm sure you have seen, we have our fair share of
their cute little pouty faces in pictures. While they are pretty sober,
they do smile and they have such cute smiles! Anyways, I was practicing
with them earlier in the day, "Say cheese. Show your teeth. Smile," etc.
They were so happy and singing on the way there. I thought, "Yay. We
are finally going to get some pictures of their cute smiles!" Not so. As
soon as I put Adelyn down on the couch, she screamed. Once we finally
calmed her down by yes, bribing her with treats, she stayed but would
not smile. I kept saying that we could get ice cream (that's a HUGE
reward if you know them) if they smiled. Anyways, they gave half little
smiles for a few pictures out of 45 minutes of photos. After we were
frustrated but I thought that maybe they just don't know what we mean or
something. We went to In-N-Out while waiting for our pictures and while
there, Tia said, "Avery, smile." She gave the biggest, cheesiest smile.
He then asked Adelyn to and she did the same thing. Naughty naughty
girls. And unfortunately when you marry a Samoan, you look like a ghost
in your own family. :) Christian was very good and even gave a little
smile! Anyways, besides having little girls that refuse to smile, and me
being pasty white, there are some cute ones. (Adelyn is in pink, Avery is in Purple)
