Last week was so fun. Chrissy and Sara came out with their kids for a few days and it was so nice to spend time together. David and Heather surprised everyone and came out to watch Jessie dance at Nationals. It was short, but it was so fun to have everyone here (except Becky; we missed you!). A few of the activities included: the museum at Thanksgiving Point, girls shopping trip, lots of yummy dinners, dance party, going to Dancesport to watch Jessie, late night games and movies, time at the park with the kiddos, and lot's of talking and eating. :) On Sunday, we blessed Christian. Tia gave him such a sweet blessing; I felt/feel incredibly blessed for a wonderful husband, the chance I have to be a mother and for our kids and for amazing family there to support us. We had a delicious breakfast after (thanks Mom and Craig) and spent the rest of the day relaxing. Here are just a few pictures of the time we spent together.

Our Little Christian
We are loving this little boy so much. He made it really easy to love him by making such a nice, entrance to this world. Two weeks ago, Monday morning I waited for a call to come in to be induced. They said to be ready by six but it could be later depending on how busy the hospital was. I got ready and tried to go back to sleep. I was so uncomfortable and had a stomach ache so I couldn't really sleep. Finally they called at about 8:30 and said I could come in. We got up, sent the girls off with Tia's parents and went in. I was still having pretty bad pains and told them that when I got there. They checked me and I was already at a 3.5 and effaced 90% so I had already started going into labor. We had walked in the hospital at nine, they got me all hooked up and started pitocin at 10, and he was born at 11:46. It was crazy and so so nice! The nurse started bringing in blankets and all the tools shortly after I had gotten there and I kept thinking, "I am going to meet him so much sooner than I thought!" Tia and I had checked out five movies to watch together during the day while I was in labor; we only got about half an hour into the first one. With the girls I was in labor for about twelve hours and spent an hour and a half pushing and he was out with four pushes. Needless to say, it was such a blessing that it went so easily and smoothly and I much prefer his labor to the girls. :)
The rest of the day was spent recovering in Mother/Baby and I kept thinking, I am so glad I already had him and I am not still in labor! The girls came to meet him as he was getting washed. They were kind of clueless and very curious. They pulled on his wrinkly fingers and toes and were so confused. They were very gentle with him though, and gave him kisses. We had a wonderful hospital stay and enjoyed family coming to meet Christian. The next day, we came home. The first few minutes at home with our family of five (that sounds so big!) were quite stressful. The girls would look at him and give him kisses and then turn away and fall to the ground throwing a tantrum. I needed my prescription medication and told Tia I would go get it. He said, "Oh no, you shouldn't go out." I told him that going to pick up some medicine was much less taxing than having three children eighteen months and under wanting you at the same time. So he stayed with them. That night was really stressful, but the rest of the week either Tia was home or my mom or his mom took the girls for most the day. Last week my mom and Craig came over and got them ready in the morning and gave us an extra head start each day. Each of the kids got sick at different times last week and I went to the doctor three times for them, and don't know how I would have survived last week without all the extra help. Today was my first full day without any help and it went really well. Because of all the service we have received, I have been able to recover so fast and can enjoy time with them now. We have been so blessed by so much help from family and friends!
We are loving the sweet spirit that Christian brings into our home and enjoy him so much. He LOVES to be held (unfortunately the third child) and does a lot of eating and sleeping :) He is also a lot messier than the girls. We had to wash our bedding four times the first week because he either wet through, or had a huge blowout. Changing his diaper is a whole other mess. Boys are a lot messier than girls, but I am learning tricks to reduce the mess. Anyways we love him and are so grateful he has come to our family!

That morning
Taken today. Avery pulled this toilet paper all the way from the bathroom in our room while I was giving Christian a bath downstairs.
More updates coming soon...Any extra time I have had I have used for sleep :)
